New Reading Content

NVT's interactive reading exercises have always given patients a variety of choices when it comes to reading material. We are happy to report that your patients now have even more content to choose from! New short stories, informative articles, and excerpts from the classics have just been uploaded.

Mock Patients

If you ever wished for the ability to have one or two "sandbox" patient accounts in your NVT profile that you are free to play with, to use for training, testing, and orientation purposes - and that would NOT be subject to monthly billing - your wish has been granted by our resident software genie (genius?). Now your clinic can designate up to two "patient" accounts as a "Mock Patient."

Go ahead and invite yourself as a patient using an alternate email address and whatever name you'd like. Once the invite is accepted, click into the "View and Edit User" window for your new patient, and toggle “Mock Patient” to “On.”

Section Headers

This new tool gives you the freedom to organize and separate your programmed exercises however you'd like. Say you want certain exercises done only on certain days of the week? Drop in a Section Header. If you want to designate certain activities to be done only after a patient has reached a certain level on others, add a Section Header with whatever specific instructions you want.

Section Headers can be inserted into a manually built program, or into Grid Sets or Grid Schedules. Just hit the blue “+” icon to add, and select “Section Header” from the “Other Misc” dropdown, and enter your instructions. Then just drag & drop your new Header to where you want it in your patient's list of assigned activities.

Just Press Play

You may have noticed a new button when you're assigning exercises to a patient or to a Grid. That same sideways triangle that you press to start a movie or play your favorite song, can now be pressed in NVT to quickly launch an exercise so you can try it with all the parameters you have set, to make sure you have everything tuned exactly how you want.

Privacy Screen

We have heard from some of our partner clinics that they like to go over Progress Reports and other information in NVT in-clinic with their patients, but other patients' names and contact info could be seen in the background which raised some privacy concerns. You'll notice that the MY CLINIC page is now blurred out when in the background, so you can go over your patients' data with them while also staying HIPAA compliant!
