Patient Feedback and Engagement
TIPS & TRICKS
NeuroVisual Trainer allows you to quicly view how much patients are engaging with their vision therapy exercises. You can see how your patients are doing with their therapy, and to identify those who may need a little extra encouragement.
These patients appear only casually engaged with their therapy, logging in every once in a while, leaving you no indication as to how they're doing.
Every patient here is providing valuable feedback and context to their vision therapy team, and their compliance is looking great!
Communication is vital for compliance
Not only does your patient need to properly understand their exercises, and how the work you do together relates to their vision, but you need to know how their vision therapy is affecting them. This is especially important when they are practicing at home. Encourage your patients to make use of NVT’s feedback and comments, allowing for more personalized and adaptive vision therapy.
The Importance of Feedback:
-
Immediate Insights: Every time your patients complete an Exercise or Video in NeuroVisual Trainer, they are prompted to enter comments. This contemporaneous, real-time feedback captures patients' fresh feelings and experiences, as opposed to watered-down recollections given days or weeks later in-clinic.
-
Seamless Feedback Integration: Patient comments are automatically copied into their Progress Reports for easy reference. Remember, you can also see that a patient has left comments for you on the MY CLINIC page; NVT’s color-coded calendar shows each patient’s activity at-a-glance, so nothing gets overlooked. Just click on a day!
-
Adapting to Needs: Immediate feedback helps you to tailor exercises to individual patients. If a certain exercise causes discomfort or feels too easy, NVT allows you to quickly make adjustments or add additional instructions based on their comments.
-
Improved Outcomes: Staying on top of feedback-driven adjustments can lead to quicker improvements and better therapeutic results.
-
Engaged and Empowered Patients: By providing concise and immediate feedback, patients play an active role in their therapy, boosting motivation and commitment, and fostering an environment where they feel valued and listened to.
